Community Based Care Brevard, doing business as Family Partnerships of Central Florida, disclosed a data breach that exposed sensitive personal and health information.

Family Partnerships was alerted that data belonging to the organization had been leaked online by an unauthorized third party. The organization launched an investigation with the help of third-party forensic specialists to determine what happened.

The investigation found that an unauthorized actor gained access to certain Family Partnerships systems between Dec. 4, 2025, and Jan. 2, 2026. During that time, the actor copied and removed information stored on those systems.

On Jan. 28, 2026, a ransomware group known as Money Message claimed responsibility for the attack on a dark web forum. The group stated it had obtained the organization's data.

After discovering the breach, Family Partnerships worked to review the affected files to identify which individuals were impacted and what types of information were involved.

The types of information exposed included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification numbers, financial account information and personal health information.

So far, 89 Massachusetts residents and two Vermont residents were affected. The organization also posted a notice of the data event on its website.
