
DTG Consulting Solutions Inc, a New Jersey-based staffing and recruiting firm that specializes in placing IT and finance professionals, disclosed a data breach involving sensitive personal, financial and medical information.
The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and to the Vermont Attorney General starting on May 29, 2026. The company began notifying affected individuals on May 29, 2026.
The notification letter sent to affected individuals did not include specific details about how the breach occurred, when the incident took place or how it was discovered.
The breach compromised personally identifiable information including names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, government ID numbers, email addresses and phone numbers, credit and debit account details, financial account numbers and financial account codes.
In addition, the breach compromised protected health information including health insurance information and medical information.
Given the sensitive nature of the information involved, the company is offering 24 months of free credit monitoring through Cyberscout. The monitoring package includes single-bureau credit monitoring, a credit report, a credit score and real-time alerts when changes are made to a credit file.
Affected individuals can enroll in the free credit monitoring service by visiting the Cyberscout activation page and entering the unique code included in their notification letter. Enrollment must be completed within 90 days of the date of the letter.
The company has set up a dedicated assistance line at 1-800-405-6108, available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. holidays.
