CCS Global Tech Data Breach Exposes SSNs

California Creative Solutions Inc., a Poway, California-based IT services and consulting company, disclosed a data breach that exposed Social Security numbers. The company, also known as CCS Global Tech, was founded in 1997 and has approximately 700 employees worldwide.

The breach was disclosed to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, as well as mailed notification letters to affected consumers on Aug. 31, 2026.

California Creative Solutions experienced a data event that may have involved personal information. The notification letter did not describe the specific nature of the event, provide details about how the incident occurred, state when it was first discovered or identify any responsible parties.

The type of personal information exposed in the breach included Social Security numbers.

California Creative Solutions is providing affected individuals with 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian IdentityWorks.

To activate the credit monitoring tools, affected individuals can visit the Experian IdentityWorks enrollment page and enter the unique activation code included in their notification letter. The enrollment deadline is Dec. 31, 2026.
